And our success allows Maharam to support causes that align with our values, so we can build a more sustainable, equitable, and beautiful future for everyone.JOB SUMMARY: With general supervision, inspects all incoming Maharam & Knoll Textile products, including upholstery, wallcovering, window covering, leather, and rugs and other products on QA Inspection Hold.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Inspects all upholstery fabrics or wall covering on QA Inspection HoldInspects select international / consignment orders prior to shippingInspects all sample replacement ordersInspects all Quality returns (RA's) from the fieldEnters detailed inspection report information on all orders inspectedPhysically lifts and/or moves all bolts required to perform inspectionMaintains, cleans, and washes down test wallMaintains and keep test hang area cleanKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Knowledge of defect nomenclatureKnow how to run inspection frameKnow how to operate high/lowWork independentlyGood sense of color and must be able to differentiate between shades of the same colorMust be able to recognize variation in color / shade, and will be tested on their ability to discern color / shade variation within the same patternMust be physically able to lift bolts of fabric and wall coveringsThe candidate will be trained in current ERP system and will need to perform their QA Inspections within this systemEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or equivalentA starting compensation range for this role is $21.00 per hour.
