  • Assist in attaining quality and cost goals
  • Develops quality control plans
  • Tracks internal and external quality levels
  • Completes and submits customer-required documentation to include First Articles, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEAS), and Production Parts Approval Process (PPAPs).
  • Acts as team member for internal ISO audits.
  • Participates in root cause analysis and development of corrective action plans
  • Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
  • Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
  • Inspects, tests, and measures products to verify conformance to specifications using rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers and CMM equipment
  • Conduct in-process inspections and part verification at the production machine, on the production floor as needed
  • Removes products and materials that fail to meet specifications
  • Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
  • Report inspection and test data
  • Receive and inspect raw materials
  • Maintains compliance with ISO processes and procedures
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
  • RequirementsQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Can Read blueprints and specifications. Aptitude for accuracy and detail. Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others in a positive and collaborative manner. Must have to ability to communicate quality questions and issues with all company personnel. Demonstrated ability to follow instructions/schedules/timelines and handle multiple priorities. Knowledge of various MS Office applications such as: Word, Excel, and Access. Ability to organize and prioritize your work. Must have good math skills relative to physical measurements of product. Ability to understand/communicate in English to the extent necessary to perform functions of the job.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
    • High School degree, diploma, GED or Trade School Graduate.
    • Two years previous inspection experience in a manufacturing setting, sheet metal or machining experience.
    • A diploma or associates degree in Quality Assurance or related manufacturing field and 2+ years' experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of GD&T highly preferred.
    • Ability to read blueprints and production drawings.
