Role Definition
The Quality Assurance Intern is responsible for assisting project teams to meet their Quality and regulatory compliance requirements. They will work with the QA team to provide support to operations to consistently meet or exceed production goals while maintaining a strong focus on quality. They will support teams within all aspects of the Keen Project Delivery System. They will keep safety as top priority in daily work and training while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Protect People
* Performs site audits to ensure compliance with necessary requirements; assisting the QA team and conduct test runs, provide solutions to problems, monitor, and follow up with QA team on required corrective actions.
Build Relationships
* Assist with the development, implementation, monitoring, and managing of policies, procedures, and metrics to ensure a safe workplace, efficient customer service, and continuous improvement for use and distribution operations.
Focus on end goals
* Assist with onsite inspections and perform tests to ensure that requirements are complied with.
* Assist in establishing operational procedures and managing activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
* Participate in field verification of process equipment including but not limited to screeners, scalpers, gates, valves, conveyors, machinery, fans, oil in drives, belts tensioning, and run-out.
* Participate in Dust System Commission including checkout of dust filters, fans, and airlocks including fan balancing, filter/solenoids/airlocks, produce balancing reports, conduct duct work balancing of all new and modified dust collection systems.
* Participate in the equipment evaluation process to checkout, purchase, trade, repair, and sell equipment as part of a team to determine stock level and buy or sell needs.
* Advise employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

* Develop business for technical services plus train and schedule future field technicians including but not limited to vibration analysis, infrared monitoring, and balancing.
* Initiative to work with teams and learn new jobs or processes to better self and company.
* Utilize and promote lean principles and tools in all aspects of your role and promote use throughout the organization.
Education and Qualifications
* Trade school, vocational school, or college education in related field, preferred.
* OSHA 10.
* Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR.
* Working knowledge of basic computer programs like Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and on-line collaboration tools. Proficient in Autodesk/Plant Design Suite products like and Revit and AutoCAD are desired, with knowledge of Inventor, Navisworks, etc., beneficial.
* Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
* Travel is required up to 40% of the time.
