Job Summary

As the Quality Assurance Lead, you will ensure that Component Integration Testing (CIT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) have occurred, and results are documented before moving code to the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment.

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to ensure that Component Integration Testing (CIT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) have occurred, and results are documented before moving code to the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment. This position will be full-time and onsite.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure that Component Integration Testing (CIT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) has occurred, and results are documented before moving code to the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment

  • Create detailed and update test cases to validate software functionality against requirements

  • Link all test scripts and use cases to the traceability matrix to guarantee full requirement coverage and correct software behavior

  • Schedule and execute test scripts and use cases at regular intervals to support continuous integration and delivery

  • Provide input during the planning and estimation phases of project cycles needed to test all functionality thoroughly

  • Establish and maintain controlled test environments for accurate and effective testing

  • Ensure test bad is conditioned and accounts are prepped and aged in various stages of the workflow

  • Monitor, prioritize and track software issues and defects throughout the development lifecycle

  • Document defects and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution

  • Retest resolved defects to ensure thorough resolution

  • Perform Regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality

  • Perform Security testing to validate against potential threats as well as test user profiles to ensure correct system access by profile

  • Perform Compatibility testing to ensure interfaces and applications work across different environments, and platforms

  • Ensure Data Conversion testing is successfully executed

  • Perform Stress test to evaluate performance under extreme conditions

  • Ensure testing results are approved and workarounds identified and approved for remaining defects prior to implementation

  • Gather documentation needed for CMS required UAT reporting

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Five (5) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in a Quality Assurance testing or similar role

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Five (5) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in creating and executing test plans, cases and detailed scripts

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors
