Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the automation testing efforts for our insurance broker products, ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications.

This position can be entirely virtual/remote/work from home and you can sit anywhere in the US.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation testing frameworks and strategies for insurance software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and design effective test automation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and identify defects to ensure the quality of software releases.
  • Mentor and coach team members on automation best practices and techniques.
  • Continuously research and evaluate new automation tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Business leads to help integrate critical business functions into the automated QA.
About you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing leveraging tools such as Selenium, Appium or similar.
  • Ability to deliver testing packages on time in a fast-paced development environment.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing automation testing frameworks for web-based applications.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Insurance industry experience is a plus.
