Read more about our benefits here:We seek an energetic and highly motivated Quality Assurance Lead to establish standards and practices that consistently deliver quality data solutions to our clients. This role requires deep industry knowledge of quality assurance, testing, and evaluation principles and practices to implement a best-in-class quality assurance and testing programs within the Health Solutions Insights (HSI) team. The ideal candidate will own and implement the data quality management plans at a program level and across projects. They are required to collaborate with technical and non-technical staff to deliver high-quality software systems and data products. Success in this position requires a high degree of technical aptitude for software development, data testing, synthetic data generation, and automated testing within an agile environment.Responsibilities:
- Oversee and devise QA plans and test cases on projects while collaborating with technical and non-technical project staff
- Lead the implementation of quality management policies, best practices, and processes on projects
- Manage end-to-end quality assurance activities on projects
- Collaborate with data architects, data SMEs, technical and non-technical project staff to create and manage test data for use on projects
- Manage the process to execute test cases (manual or automated) and determine remediation steps based on the outcome
- Establish principles, best practices, and procedures for quality management policies within HSI
- Establish industry standard methodologies of synthetic data generation and automated data testing
- Coordinate with development teams with defect reporting and resolution
- Coordinate with development team to automate test cases
- Utilize tools like Jira to manage testing activities, defect tracking, testing reports etc. on projects
- Prepare regular reports on test progress
- Understand and provide constructive feedback on requirements from the testing and test automation perspective
- Provide guidance and thought leadership to HSI leadership, project leadership and project technical leadership to implement quality assurance principles and standards
- Provide approach, staffing, and budgeting guidance for proposals and projectsPosition Requirements:Requirements:
- At least 10 years of QA experience, with at least 5+ years in a Lead QA role, preferably in health analytics
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or similar field.
- A combination of equivalent education and work experience may be substituted for the above requirements.
- Experience implementing end-to-end testing for enterprise data platforms, data analysis, and visualization solutions including BI platforms
- Experience working with Agile and iterative development methodologies
- Knowledge of the system development life cycle (SDLC) including coding standards and reviews, version control, and testing
- Proficiency with automation frameworks and tools for test automationThis position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of $100,000- $145,000. This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
