Quality Assurance Manager
Overview
The Quality Assurance Manager drives continuous improvements through all systems of the manufacturing process as well as all business aspects related to customer expectations. The objectives of the Quality Assurance Manager are to:
* Maximize customer satisfaction
* Exceed customer expectations
* Ensure compliance with ISO-9001, SQF and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
* B. S. in Chemistry or Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 7 years of experience working in a Quality Leadership role with 4 of those years in a management position.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience working with ISO 9001 and SQF standards.
* Knowledge of plastics extrusion and converting processes.
* Strong background in statistical analysis including SPC and design of experiments.
* Experience leading cross functional teams in root cause analysis and corrective action development.
Responsibilities
* Supervise Quality Control Laboratory activities.
* Lead root cause analysis of internal and external non-conformances.
* Facilitate management of change projects to include statistical evaluation of results.
* Manage Quality Systems compliance to ISO 9001 and SQF standards.
* Respond to customer inquiries:
* Specifications
* Surveys
* Audits
* Complaints
* Visit customer locations as a Quality and Technical representative.
