**Responsibilities**

1. CMM implementation and set up of new programming.

2. CPK trend analysis of data and capability studies.

3. Gauging (sample and new product or material qualifications).

4. Managing Calibration Program.

5. Report preparation including gauging parts pulling data and preparing.

6. Software and gauge qualifications/validations.

7. Training and assisting Quality Techs and Inspectors on gauges and CMM.

8. Developing/revising new inspection plans.

9. Effectively interact with all internal functional job levels and with external agencies and resources in order to maximize the effectiveness of the quality assurance program.

10. Support and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, quality, high performance and process excellence.

11. Some travel may be required.

12. Must perform any other assigned duties.

13. Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement.

**Qualifications**

1. BS degree in Quality Management, Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

2. Must have technical abilities to operate key quality equipment such as Hexagon CMM Model SF.7.10.7 with PC-DIMS coding software, various quality gauges and devices to provide accurate and consistent data.

3. Has a strong aptitude in various quality and office software such as Excel, Mini tab, QC Calc and Shop Floor on line.

4. Manufacturing experience preferably in plastics, injection molding, packaging, or other consumer products.

5. Strong technical, business, interpersonal and organizational skills.

6. Must have strong math and statistical analysis skills along with ability for problem solving, programing and engineering.

7. Prior experience in Six Sigma, Lean and 5s a plus.

8. Has experience with various Quality standards such as SPC, ISO 9001, SQF and calibration

9. Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting (up to 35 pounds periodically).

10. Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.

11. Must be able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner.
