Job Summary: A quality control technician/quality assurance contributes to the success of blending raw materials to create food and beverage products to exact specifications. Responsible for weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients to standards. Perform routine tests to ensure the resulting mixture meets specified properties and consistencies.Key Responsibilities: Provide quality assurance support for raw materials, in-process mixes, and finished products as assigned. Conduct analytical and physical testing of raw material samples. Operate lab equipment according to detailed procedures and processes. Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency. Assist in sampling and testing of products according to USDA requirements (once certified by USDA).Required Qualifications: Ability to lift/carry cases weighing 20-40 pounds repeatedly over 8 to 12-hour shifts. Ability to continuously stand and walk, or manipulate and handle product samples while sitting.Certifications: USDA certification (once certified). Education: High SchoolCertification: USDA Certified
