DutiesThe following are the duties of this position at the GS-12. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position.As a Quality Assurance Specialist (Calibration Analyst), you will:
- Preform calibration and verification related activities.
- Perform complex, detailed testing and analysis to determine if instruments are defective and to determine the effectiveness of quality and calibration processes.
- Preform experimental Design of Experiments (DOE) testing to determine possible root cause analysis and correct and weaknesses in methods or materials.
- Provide statistical, technical, and program support for the Calibration Division.
Requirements Conditions of Employment- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
