Shift/Hours/Location: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm, onsite/hybrid, Moses Lake WA

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

Working within the quality team, under minimal supervision, ensure compliance to CAPA processes and procedures and be responsible for, but not limited to:

* Communicate with internal/external customers on quality issues and requests.

* Coordinates and leads external, process, customer, supplier, and internal audits.

* Gather data from internal/external suppliers/customers for various internal/external reports.

* Manages and responds to quality issues with related groups such as Lab, Production, Customer Service, Suppliers, and customers.

* Ensures that processes needed for the Quality Operating System are established, implemented, and maintained.

* Assists the Quality Assurance Manager in reporting the performance of the Quality Operating System and any need for improvement to Executive Management.

* Generate various internal/external reports.

* Maintain quality records.

* Have responsibility for review and approval of NC and CAPAs, with attention to detail, review for completeness, accuracy, effectivity, and timeliness.

* Liaise with relevant functional groups, facilitate, and guide teams through all stages of the NC / CAPA process.

* Ensuring users provide the necessary rigor to the electronic CAPA system content including maintaining a live document with all relevant evidence attached, in a timely manner.

* Exhibit ability to build expertise in facilitating NC & CAPA teams in the application of problem-solving techniques and promote its use and development e.g., 8-D, 5-Why, Fishbone, Root Cause Analysis etc.

* Highly proficient on NC/ CAPA procedures, and champion of electronic CAPA system.

* Execute the NC/CAPA Reviews with department champions.

* Monitor site NC/CAPA KPIs including reporting requirements, provide detailed updates and information in support of quality & business review forums, ensuring compliance to global requirements & metrics.

* Identify and drive continuous improvement and collaboration opportunities and projects.

* Participate in cross-plant and corporate project teams in areas of NC & CAPA.

* Work cross functionally with all departments in problem resolution using 8D/CAPA methodology.

* Work cross functionally with all departments to maintain the quality operating system to adhere to the ISO9001 standard and/or other standards as identified.

* Mentor co-workers and internal customers with interpretation of ISO requirements, SOP requirements, and other guidance documents, as applicable.

* Interfaces with Manufacturing and Customer Service (or other groups) in problem resolution, and continual improvement.

* Responds to customer complaints, inquiries and audit requirements relating to Manufacturing with appropriate sense of urgency and business criticality.

* Performs other related duties as directed.

* Maintain a high level of integrity at all times while being courteous, tactful and cooperative with co-workers, management and customers both internal and external.

* Working knowledge of principles and practices of the ISO 9001 standard and/or other standards as identified.

QUALIFICATIONS

* BS/BA degree in related field or comparable experience.

* Minimum of 2 years of quality assurance experience.

* Preferred to have ISO9001 Lead Auditor certification and experience with IATF16949 standard.

* Able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

* Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

* Working knowledge of basic grammar principles and practices.

* Ability to:

* Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously to meet established deadlines.

* Work as a team and/or independently.

* Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.

* Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills.

* Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability.

* Ability to travel (All US States & International), up to 50% of time

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $64K-$91K

WORKING CONDITIONS

Duties are generally performed indoors in an office and high purity manufacturing environment. The noise level in the manufacturing work environment is occasionally loud. Employees will work in a covered Process Safety Management (PSM) environment containing threshold quantities of flammable liquids and/or gasses that have a potential for fire or explosion. Employees working in this environment are required to be free from devices that are not considered intrinsically safe. Examples of devices that may not be intrinsically safe include Insulin Pumps, Pacemakers, Pain Management devices, etc. When working in the presence of safety hazards, the employee is expected to follow company safety rules and use proper personal protective equipment such as: hardhat, protective clothing, safety glasses, etc.
