Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for supporting and implementing the quality management system. This role supports the Quality Assurance program including: inspection audits, corrective and preventive action plans and monitoring. The Quality Assurance Specialist is guided through knowledge of the continuous quality improvement practices within the industry, current quality guidelines, client specific SOPs, and SSC procedures and policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Provides Audit support to operations teams including post audit corrective action recommendations and training.

+ Providing subject-matter and functional support.

+ Implements client quality initiatives and trainings with SSC operations teams.

+ Ensures standardization across all schools to support operations.

+ Driving root cause identification, analysis, and proactive remediation recommendations.

+ Communicating results, metrics improvements, and critical issues to SSC senior leadership.

+ Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues related to quality and/or operational issues while meeting deadlines.

+ Ensures proper use of chemicals, supplies, and equipment.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

+ 1-3 years experience in auditing or regulatory inspections

+ Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint), and data management systems

+ Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations governing our operations

+ Strong data management, reporting, and technical writing skills.

+ Must be authorized to drive a company vehicle, motor vehicle record check required

+ Maintain a safe driving record, obey all applicable traffic laws, and drive in accordance with weather/road conditions.
