Job DescriptionGoodwill South Florida is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee and ensure the quality standards of our textile grading operations. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our sorting and grading processes, ensuring that donated textiles meet the necessary quality criteria for resale, recycling, or repurposing. The Quality Assurance Specialist will monitor grading consistency, provide feedback, and help drive continuous improvement to support production efficiency and Goodwill's sustainability goals.Requirements
- Associate's degree or relevant certification in Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in textiles, manufacturing, or similar production environments.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and correct grading discrepancies.
- Proficiency in using quality management tools and software for reporting and tracking quality metrics.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet production deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training and collaborating with team members.
- Physical ability to inspect, handle, and move textiles as needed (up to 50 lbs).
