Reporting to the Quality Manager, the successful candidate will possess an exceptional working knowledge of firearms handling/safety, be able to perform highly detailed inspections of various components and assemblies, exhibit expert situational awareness, and possess the ability to work with minimal supervision. All team members must be U.S. persons and pass drug screening and background checks.JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES Responsible for various types of inspections / quality procedures (final assembly inspection, coating and blasting inspections and point-of-aim/point-of-impact validation procedures) and the associated documentation. Inspecting products according to established Quality and Safety standards Monitor testing procedures and processes to ensure tests performed are done according to item specifications, protocols, and standard test methods. Complete documentation necessary for the support of testing procedures Ensure equipment is calibrated, validated, and maintained properly and ensure safety during operation of equipment. Assist with any Quality concerns and report concerns to management. Various tasks to support facility operations (Quality or Production)QUALIFICATIONSIn addition to general team member expectations, this role specifically requires the following: High school diploma or equivalent (General Educational Development) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook) Experience with gauging equipment (calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, hardness testers, optical comparators, etc.) is a plus. Experience with drawings and interpreting dimensional callouts is a plus. Experience with following processes and documenting results from inspection is preferred. Understanding of traceability is preferred.
