Your leadership will drive the team towards excellence in GMP compliance and quality audits, fostering a culture of quality and meticulous attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a dedicated team of QA professionals, providing mentorship and driving professional development.
  • Conduct and spearhead daily GMP audits and inspections, meticulously documenting and reviewing findings to foster continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guarantee steadfast laboratory compliance and operational excellence.
  • Manage comprehensive analytical testing across all stagesfrom raw materials to finished productsto ensure strict adherence to quality specifications.
  • Strategically coordinate Certificate of Analysis (COA), testing timelines, and quality specifications for raw materials and products.
  • Respond proactively to product issues and customer complaints, ensuring swift resolutions and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Champion internal education on GMP and HACCP, enhancing company-wide quality awareness and standards.
  • Lead the charge in achieving and maintaining SQF/BRC compliance, while monitoring performance trends to preemptively address potential quality issues.
  • Oversee environmental sampling and manage the laboratory supply budget, ensuring all resources are optimally utilized.
What You Bring to the Role:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a laboratory setting, preferably within the food or beverage industry.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in laboratory testing procedures, coupled with proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of leadership in supervisory roles.
  • Relevant certifications such as HACCP, SQF Practitioner, Calibration Technician, and others are highly desirable.
  • A background in dairy or related sectors will be considered an advantage.
