We are changing the world with:• Trusted products that accelerate drug discovery, development, and delivery to save lives• Damage-resistant cover glass to enhance the devices that keep us connected• Optical fiber, wireless technologies, and connectivity solutions to carry information and ideas at the speed of light• Precision glass for advanced displays to deliver richer experiences• Auto glass and ceramics to drive cleaner, safer, and smarter transportationRole PurposeFrontline leadership for quality operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead shift operations to achieve production goals.Provide focus and direction to production employees.Manage resources (people, materials, equipment) to optimize throughput and quality.Balance production with validation runs, equipment upgrades, process improvements and maintenance activities.Meet all safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.Create and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.Build a culture of process discipline and change management.Track and report production metrics.Develop staffing and training plans for production operators.Build effective relationships with operators and support groups.Perform employee performance reviews. Administer feedback and recognition when appropriate.Onboard and train production workforce, achieving maximum workforce flexibility.Experiences/Education - RequiredBachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related technical fieldExcellent verbal/written communication skills and presentation skills.Ability to effectively coach, mentor, and lead subordinates, providing clear direction and establishing expectations.Experience coordinating activities within functional responsibility and collaborating with support groups to achieve results.Effective team building and conflict resolution skillsProcess control and disciplineFlexible and adaptable; willing to work outside of role to move the team forwardCapacity and desire to learn and growStrong customer advocacyWork HoursWill be required to work 12 hour rotational shiftsExperiences/Education - DesiredManufacturing and/or engineering experience preferredPassion for ensuring a high level of quality and safety within the workplaceExperience in leading projects, people, processes (can be in community or internship experience)Experience with early-stage manufacturing and new product deliveryFDA regulations and cGMPThis position does not support immigration sponsorship.The range for this position is $61,849.00 - $85,043.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
