About the Role:
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for the performance of specific duties as deemed necessary to provide a high quality and food safe product that meets and exceeds our customer s overall expectations.
Role Requirements:
- As the Quality Assurance Technician, you will be required to ensure all staff within the facility comply with the company s GMP requirements.
- You will implement food-manufacturing processes that support compliance with safety standards.
- You will be required to perform quality inspections on all incoming raw materials and on all products produced during the shift.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce all GMP, quality specifications, and food safety compliance
- Utilize proper PPE and follow OSHA guidelines
- Perform post-op inspection and corrective action documentation
- Environmental swabs as specified in ATP sampling procedure
- Perform product specification analysis based on customer specs and document accordingly
- Ensure that all products are produced to customer specification
- Inspect raw material in question
- Verify HACCP verification checks are being performed as specified
- Partner with production to correct food safety and quality concerns
- Additional duties as assigned by QA Management to serve business needs
- Additional duties as required
Qualifications:
- 1+ years food processing QA experience in similar production and operational environment
- Ability to work flexible shift schedule in cold environment
- Ability to communicate and comprehend oral and written communication
