Job Description:
Our client is a worldwide leading manufacturer of premium building products and related technology. Job Responsibilities:Inspect and verify suitable of all incoming raw materials and finished goodsContinuously monitor the production process and product to maintain product consistency and comply with established specificationsEvaluate and test all finished products and overall product quality during and after productionAccurately perform and document all testing. Testing may include: Inspection and testing of incoming raw materials, in-process products, finished goodsUtilize testing equipment for validation and/ or calibration. Able to read close tolerance gauges, meters, and tape measures protection. Strictly adhere to safety procedures when handling chemicalsProperly identify quality defects and understand CCM Defect List and Troubleshooting Guide for AestheticsPerform daily/weekly start-ups/shutdowns/ Calibrations and mastering on all necessary equipment in accordance with standard works proceduresProperly layout and cut boards and samples in accordance with standard work proceduresCalculate Laminator run time; compression strengths; board, cup and core densities; basic statistical applicationsProperly input, analyze, and manage dataPerform Chemical and Facer SamplingPerform Foam core density testing; 3D compressive Strength testing; Dimensional stability testing; Cold box testing; Facer Peel testing (adhesion); Attribute testing for aesthetics and K-Factor TestParticipate in the plant's continuous improvement processHousekeeping of Plant inside and out, Assist in training of new team membersSkills High school diploma or GEDA minimum of one year of QA Technician experience in a manufacturing environment preferredManufacturing/processing specifications and quality standards for products preferredOperate product test equipment and equipment calibrationUnderstand the impact of sending incorrect/defective productRead close tolerance gauges, meters, and taupe measuresMust be familiar with using a computer and entering data
