an eye for the minute tedious and oft obscureHave the innate ability to work well independentlyHave the innate ability to self manage and self disciplineConsiders oneself extremely well organizedStrong analytical and communication skills with computer knowledge Microsoft OfficeCreative problem solving skills combined with innovative approaches to resolve complex problems are preferredAn understanding of laboratory practices techniques and equipment is preferredAn understanding of microbiology is preferredExperience with HACCP GMP and Food Safety training is preferredModel a can do and team player approach in all work activitiesTYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES The work of the Laboratory Technician is likely to include some or all but not limited to the following activities Accomplish day to day laboratory tasksMeasure quantitatively the quality of products as they are produced; recording weights volumes densities lot numbers inclusion usage etcPerform plant wide environmental evaluationsReview file and organize laboratory documents as neededMonitor processes and employee compliance to ensure quality is being maintained;
