Are you passionate about food safety and quality control? A reputable food company in Commack, NY, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to ensure their products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Qualifications:

+ Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment

+ Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, etc.)

+ Attention to detail and analytical skills

+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software for reporting and documentation

salary: $41,000 - $45,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

+ Conduct routine inspections of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with company and industry standards

+ Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to food safety protocols and quality specifications

+ Perform regular testing, including temperature checks, pH levels, and other relevant analyses

+ Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, test results, and non-conformities

+ Collaborate with production and operations teams to resolve any quality-related issues

+ Assist in the development and implementation of corrective actions to improve product quality

+ Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
