Job Description:

We are looking for a Quality Assurance/Test Specialist with a Secret clearance or higher to join our Naval Surface Warfare Center Team!

As a Quality Assurance/Test Specialist, you will:

* Act as the overall Quality Assurance and Test and Evaluation (T&E) lead by performing technical and administrative management of inspection and testing on multiple projects

A week in the life of a Quality Assurance/Test Specialist:

* Analyze requirements to define test methods that support evaluation of project suitability and effectiveness.

* Coordinate project test planning with Government activities to minimize program schedule impact.

* Conduct testing in accordance with Government policies and procedures.

* Generate report documentation that provides the Government with required information to assess project development status.

* Maintain access to and proficiency with Government/Contractor enterprise applications required for testing and/or function as data repositories.

* Ensure our QMS (ISO 2700:2013 Quality Management System) is applied to all our test plan development and performance requirements.

* Participate in all planning and review meetings to include, Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs).

Job Requirements

* Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance

* Five (5) years' experience in Defense acquisition and/or system test and evaluation

* BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related scientific or technical discipline

* Experience in coordinating test & evaluation of developmental and demonstration programs in a Defense organization with rapid acquisition

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is $80,000-$100,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
