Akkodis is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester for a 12-month contract-to-hire job with a client in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Development Test Analysis, with strong expertise in QA automation and working within an Agile Scrum environment. Rate Range: $40/hour - $41.90/hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Quality Assurance Tester job responsibilities include:
- Develop and lead software testing strategies, including complex workflow analysis.
- Write test automation scripts, build test scenarios, and validate software releases.
- Collaborate with the Test Lead and development teams to ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.
- Work with product owners and customers to form acceptance criteria and ensure successful test execution.
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Development Test Analysis.
- At least 1 year of experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Expertise in writing functional, performance, and automated unit tests.
- Experience with platforms like Cucumber BDD, Selenium WebDriver, Eclipse IDE, TestNG, Maven, GitHub, Rally, and Jenkins.
- Proficiency in Core Java, SQL, and SOAP UI.
- Bachelor's Degree.
