Here's what you'd do:
- The client is looking for a highly proficient, hands-on Software QA Automation Tester/Developer to help drive our Agile Test Efforts and keep our platform running smoothly.
- As part of the Software Engineering team SDLC (Software Dev life cycle), lead the software QA testing function to ensure products are bug-free and issues are documented, Work with the Test Lead, write test automation scripts, build test scenarios, validate software releases, and ensure that end users have a defect free product experience.
- You'll work closely with development teams to help discover and debug issues.
- This position exists to ensure the delivery of quality IT products.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to, Developing and leading software testing strategies.
- Performing complex workflow analysis.
- Acquiring and disseminating project information and quality status to internal and external partners.
- Establish and ensure adherence to quality assurance testing directions, standards, guidelines and methodologies.
- Identify and automate the right test cases using the defined automation framework.
- Taking complete ownership of your work and that of your team
- Perform Test estimation & planning - Agile environment
- Peer review test scripts, as needed
- Evaluate and test software programs to verify that they function according to user requirements

Job RequirementsRequired Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Development Test Analysis
- Minimum of 2 years experience in QA Automation
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Software Testing
- Minimum of 1 year experience in working in an Agile Scrum environment methodology
- Minimum of 2 years experience in writing functional performance and automated unit tests
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Software Quality Assurance on at least one platform like Cucumber BDD, Selenium web driver, Eclipse IDE, TestNG, Maven, GitHub, Rally and Jenkins
- Minimum of 2 years of script development experience utilizing BDD Cucumber, Java & Selenium Webdriver
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Core Java and SQL and SOAP UI tool
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Analyst/QA
- Proven ability to estimate the scope and size of overall testing effort for each user story
- Ability to work collaboratively and productively with the product owner and the customer to form acceptance criteria
- Skills to develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures, working with Basic SQL queries to do needed data analysis for testing.
