Overview:

As a Quality Assurance - Warehouse Specialist I, you will be responsible for inventory of incoming and outgoing equipment, tracking and documentation of shipment details.

Quality Assurance experience preferred, to help create and measure the effectiveness of Warehouseprocesses to avoid costly errors and reduce financial loss.

YOUR IMPACT

The essential functions of this position include:

  • Conduct pre-shipment inspection and quality checks for all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to develop and implement quality control procedures for inventory management processes.
  • Participate in inventory audits, perform cycle counts, and reconcile inventory discrepancies, focusing on identifying and resolving quality-related issues.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of quality-related data, including inspection results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions taken.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality assurance processes within the warehouse.
  • Conduct regular inspections of warehouse facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Provide support to the QA team in investigating and resolving quality-related customer complaints or concerns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance in warehouse operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma
  • Some college course completions (preferred)
  • Familiarity with inventory operating systems (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Quality Assurance practices (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (preferred)
  • Ability to follow-up, multi-task and pay close attention to details
  • Ability to meet the demands of a high-volume environment
  • Ability to thrive in a team setting

POSITION SPECIFICS

The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $19.23 and $24.04 hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered. If hired, employee will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing this role, you will engage in both seated and standing or walking activities. We provide reasonable accommodations, in accordance with relevant laws, to support success in this position.

  • Must be able to lift to 49 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend, squat and go up and down stairs during shifts
  • Ability to stack materials for extend periods of time
  • Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, utility carts, dollies, and forklifts
  • Frequent use of pulling trigger and pressing keys on handheld RF scanner
  • Regularly required to use hands to handle materials and tools
  • Regularly required to verbalize or hear instructions
  • Ability to read instructions on a computer monitor or on paper
