Job Description Summary:
This person will be part of our Quality Audit team responsible for conducting process and product compliance audits related to Draper's Quality Management System (QMS) which is based primarily on ISO 9001:2015, and specially AS9100. The candidate is expected to work independently with cross functional teams and develop a thorough understanding of our QMS documented Policies, Procedures, and established QOP Infrastructure processes, to support operation and programs. The Quality Auditor should have good understanding of system engineering development life cycles; bi-directional traceability including Hardware, Software, Integration and Test discipline and change management. As a member of the Quality audit team, the candidate will also be responsible for developing Product and Process audit questionnaires and partnering to improve QMS by analyzing data and generating metrics.Job Description:
Skills/Abilities * Ability to work on cross functional teams * Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles * Familiarity with Quality Standards ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100. * Expert knowledge and skills in process integration. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines. * Ability to prioritize tasks. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Good interpersonal skills to communicate clearly. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. Education Requires a bachelor of Science degree an Engineering discipline. Experience Requires 5-7 years experience in quality engineering or other engineering role.
