Job DescriptionPosition Summary:Quality Business Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the Quality Organization's Business Operations.This position will report directly to the Chief Quality Officer of the Company and be part of the Leadership Team, while managing a team of Operations Specialists and the overall health of the organization.Responsibilities include hands on Project Management, Strategic Planning, Communications, Financial Planning and Budget, Organization Planning, Office MRO Management, Business Intelligence, Workflow System Improvements and Community Outreach Projects. With growth as high priority, this position leads company-wide quality and continuous improvement initiatives that emphasize efficiency and profitability. Communication is an essential skill to ensure a collaborative environment to achieve goals.This position will have the highest visibility within the organization and will at times have to present to Top Leadership of the Company.Roles Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily business operations, focusing on quality and office management.
- Lead administrative projects from definition to completion, ensuring alignment with goals.
- Prepare and present executive-level presentations tailored to the audience.
- Monitor project milestones, budgets, and schedules, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Track business results through cost-benefit analysis and KPI monitoring.
- Conduct training and mentoring for team members, while facilitating continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other position related duties as assigned
RequirementsQualificationsBasic:
- Bachelor's Degree, Operations, Business or Technical Related Field
- Minimum of 15 years of industry experience with strong foundation in project management, organization and communications.
- Working and developing projects requiring finance principles
- Demonstrated technical problem-solving ability
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skill
- Ability to build effective cross functional relationships internally and externally
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
Preferred:
- Master's Degree
- Bilingual English / Korean
- Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing
- Shainin Red X or Six Sigma Certification
- Experience with Advanced Quality Planning and Control Plans, FMEA, Production Part Approval Process, MSA, and SPC.
- Familiar with World Class Manufacturing pillar methodology and implementation
- Extensive knowledge in Data Analytics utilizing MS Excel, MS Access or other database applications
Working Conditions:
- Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicals
- Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
