Location: Totowa,NJ, USA
This position will support all Quality Compliance activities related to maintaining company and governmental food safety standards. This role will be required to perform tasks associated with GMPs, HACCP, certifications and continuous improvement programs. In addition, this person will work with management in various Quality related projects. Responsibilities
o Work towards achieving and maintaining GFSI certification.
o Main point of contact for certification process-related responsibilities. Organic, Kosher, Gluten-Free, Non-GMO, RSPO, RA.
▪ Reviewing standards and making applicable updates.
▪ Conducting internal inspections to ensure compliance.
▪ Completion and submission of relevant documentation.
▪ Supporting the certification inspection and completing the corrective actions. o Review daily, biweekly, monthly and quarterly documentation.
o Provide support for training with a focus on certifications.
o Review daily, biweekly, monthly and quarterly documentation.
o Supporting the Customer bids and questions for Quality related.
o Maintain Allergen Validation, ATP Testing, chemical and microbiological testing kit inventory
o Monitoring the monthly, weekly forms to complete accurately.
o Be attentive to QA department needs such as:
▪ Retrieving information or items for QA department.
▪ Maintaining office files and storage shelves organized.
▪ Other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
Experience in GFSI and HACCP Scheme (SQF, BRC) Highly preferred.
GMP experience in food/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of safety rules, regulations and training.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) experience is preferred.
Good Communication skills
Excellent computer skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team environment.
