Job Description:
Summary:The Quality and Compliance Specialist works collaboratively with the QI team, program leadership and Staff and Human Resources to maintain all QI required information, support agency training program, and ensure regulatory compliance with all regulatory agencies. Skilled in Epic navigation and Microsoft Office, the Compliance Specialist runs and interprets reports and presents data in required formats in efforts to improve patient care delivery. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Maintains all EOC records by regulatory expectations, including monthly Fire Drills, Emergency Drills, Fire Marshall Certificates, and Food Licenses.
  • Maintains training plans in Relias and supports Human Resources and Compliance in ensuring that all required training is completed.
  • Updates guides and training materials as required. Assist in training and orientation.
  • Collects data and identifies trends in the agency's QI initiatives (Care Gaps, SDOH, PCMH, UDS, etc.) and prepares dashboards and reports as needed.
  • Maintains QI reports on a scheduled basis and ensures all data is captured and stored in a centralized location and is always up to date.
  • Prepares reports and presentations to communicate quality improvement initiatives, performance metrics, and recommendations to leadership and staff.
  • Supports improvement of patient care workflows across the agency by being present on-site during training or new initiative implementation as needed.
  • Implement and Monitor internal compliance activities including onsite internal audits to comply with regulatory bodies.
  • Interpretation of an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
*All agency staff are required to attend all mandatory department/agency meetings and trainings* RequirementsEducation &/Or Experience:MA, CNA, PCA, or similar direct patient care credential with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health/ Psychology/ Social Work and 2 years of experience in patient care delivery.
