Food Industry QC Technician Job Duties: *Accurately test, monitor, and document quality results and processing data for products produced *Audit, verify and follow-up process controls such as weight checks, batch sheets, HACCP, plant inspections, receiving, etc. *Maintain and complete files and documentation accurately and timely. *Learn to operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment. *Learn, understand, and apply the chemistry of fats and oils. *Utilize AS400 computer system for necessary quality functions. QA Tech Requirements: **High school diploma or equivalent experience. **2 years in a food manufacturing lab environment, preferably in fats and oils a plus. **Good math, problem solving, and organizational skills. **Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. **Ability to work with minimum supervision and be a self-starter. **Good inter-personal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels.
