Duration: 12-month contract (Extendable).
Hourly Pay: $28/hr to $32/hr on W2 without benefits on W2
Schedule: Mon - Fri, Business hours
Job Description:
Responsible for biological and chemical evaluation of final products, intermediate products, raw materials, and production facilities.
• Duties include performing QC assays, writing and establishing specifications, assisting in the validation of QC assays, and writing Standard Operating Procedures.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. 4-6 Years of Experience

Response: A typical day for this role is to perform Chemistry tests (HPLC, Uniformity, Particle counting to name a few), analyze data, and review processes to prevent defects, reduce costs, and ensure consistency across product lines. The role also includes ensuring lab inspection readiness and routine maintenance.

Response: The team has 11 members and will report directly to the Associate Director.
• Why is this role open? Is this more maintenance or new development work?
Response: The position is open to support the demand of increased Factor VIII Products. Its a QC role in the Chemistry group that has a good mix of lab work (testing, data review) and lab maintenance responsibilities.
