Job Title: Quality Control AssistantJob Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality control of completed vehicles, ensuring they meet international standards. This role involves planning, coordinating, and directing team activities, driving quality improvements, and analyzing quality data to identify trends and root causes of issues.

Responsibilities

+ Plan, coordinate, and direct the team activities.

+ Recommend actions and drive quality improvement through collection, analysis, and reporting of quality data.

+ Analyze internal and external quality indicators, and determine quality trends to drive continuous improvement in Quality, HRD, and budget metrics.

+ Research and investigate quality issues to determine root cause.

+ Execute and implement quality inspection and improvement activities of mass-produced vehicles, and conduct activities to identify new vehicle projects analysis of completed vehicle to ensure its high quality and conformity to international standards.

+ Establish and improve inspection methods and prevent leakage/flow out of post-processes.

+ Utilize team to develop attendance tracking and analysis with the line group for feedback to management.

+ Analyze the cause of vehicle problems, improvement activities, audit, and preparation and implementation of quality meetings.

+ Analyze statistical, historical, internal, and external quality data through trends, graphs, and reports.

+ Facilitate, recommend actions, and drive improvement through the quality and production departments using data trend analysis, and continuous improvement activities.

+ Manage quality facility/equipment, investment cost execution/management, and supplementary investment establishment.

+ Prepare, consult, and coordinate external events.

+ Participate in new vehicle projects (preparation for inspection, establishment of quality securing plan, and response to evaluation).

+ Oversee and manage ongoing systems, operation, monitor, and evaluate staff performance.

+ Analyze the effectiveness of processes and quality management systems.

+ Conduct monitoring of vehicle faults.

+ Ensure the adequacy of relevant procedures and computerized systems in accordance with reference standards and applicable legal requirements.

+ Plan, control, and monitor the corrective actions of quality non-conformity detected in audits. Prepare reports and publish timelines to provide feedback and improve the management system through technical support.

+ Answer for certifications of the company regarding the product.

+ Make certification planning and keep track of them to meet the market's demands.

+ Generate reports on troubleshooting.

+ Meet all other requirements as assigned.

+ Establish an annual operation plan. Establish an annual budget plan.

+ Implement corrective actions in accordance with company policy.

+ Develop activities and training plans to improve employees' skills, and retain a high-performing workforce through mentoring, coaching, and accountability with safety, speed, urgency, accuracy, and ownership mindset.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelors degree required (Preference: STEM)

+ Minimum 5 years of related job experience (Quality Control or automobile-related teams)

+ Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi, and Microsoft 365 products

+ Working with a team, planning and organizing, problem-solving, communication

+ Strategic thinking and mindset, willingness for transformational changes, flexibility

+ Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems

+ Use prompt judgments and actions based on professionalism and experiences to find problem-solving solutions in unexpected situations

+ Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions

+ Efficiently execute tasks and maintain quality by continuously monitoring job performance; provide immediate feedback with alternative options as necessary

+ Customer-focused (internal and external), collaborative, global citizen avoiding immoral methods and self-benefiting actions

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in quality inspection, quality improvement, and quality facility management

+ Involvement in new vehicle projects

+ Ability to analyze statistical, historical, internal, and external quality data

+ Capability to manage quality facility/equipment and investment costs

+ Experience in preparing, consulting, and coordinating external events

Work Environment

The role is based in an automotive manufacturing facility, where you will work with a team to ensure the quality of mass-produced vehicles. The work environment includes the use of various technologies and equipment, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
