Job Type Full-time Description General Description: Quality Control Technicians effectively work to minimize or eliminate possible errors through quality control measures and ensures that packing and QC methods meet high quality standard and client expectations are met. Quality Control Technicianis a detail orientated individual with demonstrated capabilities in organization, extensive experience with computers and software programs, specifically Microsoft Excel, as well as internet research and shipping experience. Success in this role has the potential for additional responsibilities, promotions, and career growth opportunities. The right person will be up for a challenge and have the drive to help continue in the success of our rapidly growing business. Essential Duties & Job Functions: 1) Attains knowledge on each client's packaging specification rules to meet clients needs. 2) Communicates with all production workers to support all production employees in fulfilling their orders accurately. 3) Inspection of packaging to meet client's needs. 4) Data Entry to maintain accurate records. 5) Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; trouble shooting breakdowns; requiring preventative maintenance. Shifts: Production QC - Saturday-Monday - 8:00am - 8:30pm - Pay $17.77 Production QC - Tuesday-Friday - 8:00am - 6:30pm - Pay $16.00 Retail QC - Monday-Friday - 8:00am - 4:30pm - Pay $16.00 Requirements Job Qualifications Mandatory: 1) Must be proficient in the use of computers. Previous experience with MS Word and MS Excel required 2) Understand basic math; percentages, multiplication of decimals, addition and subtraction 3) Ability to work independently and as part of a team 4) Must be capable of multitasking and communicating with a variety of people and personalities 5) Must be able to effectively use written and verbal communication skills 6) High School diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: 1) College level education 2) 1-3 years of QC experience 3) Proficiency in Microsoft suite, mainly Excel and One Note Work Environment: 1) This is an Atlanta based position operating out a Warehouse environment Warehouse Environmental Conditions are as follows; Moderate noise level in the work environment. Work environment is indoors. Warehouse temperatures may vary depending on outside temperatures. Physical Demands: o Sight: Must be able to see well enough to read product lot numbers and expiration dates, read reports, and use a computer. o Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate in person or via technology, and to hear warning signals of forklifts and warehouse equipment. o Standing: Must be able to stand for shift duration. o Walking: Must be able to walk without assistance to perform job duties. o Mobility: Must be able to be mobile to operate warehouse machinery. o Sitting: Must be able to sit for shift duration. o Stooping, Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel for short periods of time. o Lifting: Must be able to lift 30 lbs - 50 lbs. o Hand Mobility: Must be able to have mobility in hands to open and seal packaging, utilize keyboard functions, and utilize phone systems.
