• Bachelor's Degree in Applied or Natural Sciences (chemistry, food science, chemical engineering, distillation/brewing) with a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant work experience within the Food & Beverage industry or ISO-certified laboratories.
• Demonstrated technical depth in chemistry / liquid science, and excellent attention to detail.
• The individual displays confidence and adaptability in their approach, a desire to make a positive impact, and resilience in dealing with challenges.
• Strong time-management skills, and experience managing multiple priorities effectively
• Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic cross-functional teams, communicate proactively, and effectively manage stakeholders.
TOP ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Perform laboratory chemical analyses according to SOP, generate reliable and accurate data, and interpret results for all typical beverage chemical analysis methods (e.g. for pH, color, turbidity, ABV, etc.), and for some advanced methods (e.g. gas chromatography, HPLC, etc.)
• Determine correct application of laboratory methods to generate new insights for ingredients and formulas in development, or to solve problems in support investigations.
• Improve existing laboratory methods and Standard Operating Procedures, and assist with developing new methods as needed.
• Leverage knowledge of liquid manufacturing systems, processes, and technical analysis to review and approve raw ingredient specifications.
• Carry out World Wide Compliance Audit Sampling and Assurance Programs to verify liquid performance of our global manufacturing sites against our standards.
• Collaborate with internal and third-party manufacturing sites to establish new analytical capabilities, provide personnel training, and facilitate onboarding of new facilities.
