Job Description:
SUMMARY: The Quality Control Inspector checks the quality of incoming and outgoing materials or products as well as the ensure proper production procedures. This position involves tasks such as running tests, keeping a record of defects, analyzing products, and overseeing procedures. Commitment to and support of the Company Core Values are key to success in this position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Verify all traveler sign-offs have been completed
  • Verify all SPC sheets have been completed and signed off
  • Inspection reports
  • Verify calibration of all inspection tooling
  • Generate Non-Conformance reports for all discrepant material
  • Identify potential issues/problems and recommend corrective action measures
  • Complete all paperwork and documentation required with order
  • Meet customer requirements by following work instructions including work orders and specification sheets
  • Independently operate equipment in an efficient and safe manner while meeting required quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Uphold the company core values
  • Inspect parts to print
  • Knowledge of GD&T
  • Familiar with inspection tooling, height gages, calipers, and micrometers
  • Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. REASONING ABILITY Prioritize activities and work under pressures at all times.
  • Comply with safety standard procedures

  • Maintain clean and organized workspace
