Job Summary: If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for inspecting finished carbon fiber product for defects or deviations from specifications then we want to talk to you! Job Role:
- Inspect, test, and/or measure materials or products being produced
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
- Measure products with hand-held measuring devices such as rulers, calipers, gauges, and micrometers
- Accept or reject inspected items
- Report inspection and test data
- Document nonconformance via NCR process
- Communicate inspection results with those responsible for products
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Utilize ERP system to aid inventory management. Move parts from WIP to Finished Goods status. Monitor Staged Shipments list
- Knowledge of and experience with composites are a plus
- Must adhere to health and safety procedures, and all workplace policies
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring to the Team:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience in similar role
- Thorough knowledge of composite material related manufacturing equipment and processes a plus
- Proficient with MS Office products and Mini-tab
- Certification in Quality Control is a plus
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
- Experience with electronic inspection equipment preferred (e.g. CMMs)
- Quality Control Inspector should possess the following skills:
- Math: Knowledge of basic math and computer skills are important because measuring, calibrating, and calculating specifications are major parts of quality control testing
- Mechanical: Uses specialized tools and machinery when testing products
- Technical: Understand blueprints, technical documents, and manuals, ensuring that products and parts meet quality standards
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

- May involve operating material handling equipment in a safe manner
- Work may include exposure to variable noise levels, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, etc., requiring personal protective equipment
