Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY Perform various inspection and quality control operations of a visual, dimensional, and functional nature, making necessary critical observations, test or completing appropriate documentation. Levels within Job Name typically indicate years of experience, unique or special skill set, depth & breadth of NOV product knowledge, performance proficiency, ability to operate multiple machines, and/or the versatility of the employee's skill set.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform inspections on components, purchased parts, and/or finished products as required.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents.
- Review inspection records received for compliance.
- Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
- Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR's) for non-conforming parts.
- Maintain NOV guidelines on safety, quality, and delivery.
- Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards.
FACILITY/GROUP -SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPECTATIONS
- Supports and contributes to facility goals.
- Provide feedback on process improvements, cost savings, and opportunities for efficiency and safety.
- Remain open to feedback and collaboration with other departments.
- Ontime attendance and timeliness.
EDUCTATIONAL & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ yrs. Knowledge of standard measurement equipment and inspection processes is preferred.
- Three or more years of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Demonstrable experience reading and understanding engineering prints.
- Demonstrable experience of computer literacy and use of Microsoft Office programs.
- Non-destructive inspection experience preferred.
