Taxable Entity ALUTIIQ LOGISTICS & MAINTENANCE SVS LLC Job Title Quality Control Inspector Location CA Ridgecrest China Lake - Ridgecrest, CA 93555 US (Primary) Category Quality Control Job Type Full-time Typical Pay/Range $66,560 Annually Education High School Diploma or GED Travel Up to 25% Security Clearance Required Secret POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): A Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting all annexes against contract requirements. Position will support Quality Management Program for the contract and perform administrative duties as outlined below. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs inspections against contractual requirements for all contract annexes
- Inspects and validates all customer complaints and concerns. Documents, reports and follows up on all findings
- Writes process procedures
- Initiates, coordinates and maintains data collection into quality control database
- Collect and document data
- Uses statistical methods to create schedules and document results
- Track assigned projects
- Create reports on projects and inspection results.
- Issues corrective action reports through quality control database
- Conducts re-inspections after corrective action is complete
- Responsible for monitoring inspection processes as well as suggesting and implementing process improvements
- Work with Annex Supervisors to identify re-training opportunities for personnel and perform training in the field when necessary.
- Interfaces with government officials to address concerns and identify appropriate problem resolution
- Assist Quality Control and Safety Managers with Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) preparation, safety compliance and training.
- Assist Quality Control and Safety Managers or department supervisors with accident investigations as necessary and identify root cause as well as future preventative measures.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years contract experience preferred
- Experience with Support Services preferred
- Must meet all deadlines for assigned work
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must provide a typing certificate of 50 WPM or greater
- Ability to comply with all safety rules and regulations. Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is to be worn at all times during job performance
- Must possess a Secret clearance
- Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance within 90 days of hire
- Alutiiq Logistics & Maintenance Services, LLC maintains a drug/alcohol free workplace. Must have the ability to successfully pass pre-employment screening as well as random screenings throughout employment
- Must have a valid CA state Driver's License
- Ability to comply with written and oral instruction and direction, Alutiiq, LLC maintains a professional work environment
