Camtronics, a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a NYSE-traded company (NYSE-HEI) is seeking a Quality Control Inspector. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for conducting visual and mechanical inspections on aerospace components in accordance with inspection procedures. This position is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspects/tests finished products, products being processed, incoming parts, and assemblies for conformance to company standards.
- Utilize drawings, work orders, specifications and other pertinent information to assess conformance to requirements.
- Document non-conformances detected during inspection
- Communicate pertinent information through reports, emails and in-person discussion.
- Two to five years of quality experience using mechanical measuring equipment, performing visual inspection, first article inspections and some electrical testing experience required.
- Proficiency in the use of hand inspection equipment to inspect precision machined parts required.
- Capable of interpreting drawings and specifications and performing detailed inspections in accordance with specifications and quality procedures.
- Aviation experience preferred.
- Background working in an AS/ISO environment a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to analyze and identify trends inspection data.
- Ability to communicate with internal Team Members and external customers in a professional manner.
