Quality Control Inspector / Structural Steel - Massillon, Ohio #24-00766Salary Range: $50k - $60k based on experience Permanent Position with Benefits. Massillon, Ohio Structural Steel Manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Quality Control Inspector of Structural Steel. REQUIREMENTS
- High School Graduate, post-secondary education is a plus
- 2 or more years' experience in quality control for the structural steel industry is STRONGLY desired
- Must be able to read and interpret fabrication drawings, sketches, and weld symbols to inspect structural steel beams from 2 feet to 45 feet in length
- Familiar with physical inspection tools to include gages, squares, and tape measures to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections based on AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) guidelines and standards
- Physically fit to work in a shop / manufacturing environment (walk, stand, kneel) and occasionally lift up to 50lbs
- Salary (7am - 4:30pm) or hourly (6am - 4:30pm netting a 47.5hr week) M-F will be considered (typically no Saturday or Sunday)
- Candidates will be required to complete a culture index (personality test) prior to interviewing
