We're searching for a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Denham Springs, LA, where you'll have access to endless opportunities for career growth and professional development.Pay: $20 - $22 per hourSchedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM (with optional overtime)The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for:
- Reading & Interpreting Drawings: Ensuring proficiency in reading and interpreting steel fabrication drawings to guarantee accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
- Inspection: Performing thorough inspections of all finished parts and assemblies to confirm they meet design specifications before leaving the facility.
- Measuring Parts & Steel Framing: Accurately measuring parts, bent shapes, and overall steel framing dimensions to ensure precision and quality.
- Quality Reporting & Feedback: Regularly reporting product quality information and offering feedback to the management and fabrication team for continuous quality improvement.
- Documentation: Maintaining detailed in-process and final inspection records for both quality assurance and production control purposes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 Years of QC/QA Experience in the steel fabrication industry.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proven experience in measuring steel parts, bent shapes, and framing dimensions with high accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members across departments.
