Job Description:

Precipart, located in Farmingdale, NY, is looking to hire a two highly skilled and experienced Quality Control Inspector who will play a crucial role in ensuring that all precision mechanical components meet the highest industry standards and customer specifications. This position involves performing detailed inspections, testing products, and verifying that all components meet the specified criteria and regulatory requirements. The Quality Control Inspector will work closely with the production team to identify and address any quality issues promptly, ensuring the delivery of superior products to our clients. Your expertise will be vital to maintaining our reputation for excellence in manufacturing and delivering high-quality products.Shifts Available:1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (includes a 10% shift differential)ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSUse precision measuring instruments and devices to inspect and measure parts, assemblies, and materials for conformance to specifications and standards to determine approval or rejection of parts.Perform first piece, first article, in-process, and/or final inspection.Read blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments required.Use SPC techniques as necessary.Examine incoming items or materials for damage in transit or from previous operation. This includes comparing quantity, part number and revision of shipment received with procurement data or parts produced for accuracy.Recommend modifications to quality standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of the equipment capability.Test and inspect work in process; record and evaluate test and inspection data.Establish optimum/alternate inspection tooling and techniques to improve throughput, efficiency, and performance.
