The main purpose of the QC Inspector position is to assist in maintaining the quality of products according to Standard Operating Procedures and cGMP guidelines as well as to inspect, quarantine, and release of incoming material and finished goods. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Salary: $21-$22.50/hour Responsabilities & duties: Quality Control
  • Inspection and sampling of incoming bulk
  • Inspection and release of finished product
  • Inspection of the lab, label, and bulk for the production process
  • Processing of returned goods
  • Perform in-house laboratory testing
Inventory Control
  • Maintain label inventory for production use
  • Maintain retain and rejected logs
Documentation
  • File and organization of various documentation when assigned
  • Quality review of documents
Other
  • Participate in training others as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in quality control
  • Knowledge of cGMPs, FDA, DEA and State Board regulations is considered an asset
  • Proven decision making and problem solving skills; applies judgment
  • Detail oriented is a must with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Required to wear a full face mask for up to several hours
  • Excellent communication skills required ; fluent English (oral & written)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); Syspro/MasterControl an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
