The Quality Control Inspector will play an integral role as a member of the QC team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; inspecting all aspects of production and ensuring that proper methods and materials are used.
Working Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and extreme weather/ harsh temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate in most areas of the facility, so attention must be given to signage communicating otherwise. Personal Perfective Equipment required for this position is a (company provided) hard hat, safety glasses, reflective vest, and (employee provided) steel-toed work boots.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDES AND NOT EXCLUSIVE TO THE FOLLOWING:
* Reviewing mill certificates to ensure compliance with the required specifications Testing of materials as required to ensure compliance with the required specifications Maintaining records of these tests as verification of the quality of the materials use Monitoring the tensioning operations Taking corrective action when strands are tensioned out of tolerance Maintaining records of the operation, noting what corrective action was taken when tensioning results were out of tolerance Performing pre-pour and post- pour inspections of all setups Making sure problems that are found during the pre/post pour inspection are corrected in a timely manor Documenting the pre and post pour inspection for each product Monitoring of the concrete placing procedures regularly Reviewing the finishing and curing of the concrete Ensuring that each piece is properly marked Performing a final inspection, prior to shipping Reviewing the finish thoroughly to ensure that it matches the pre-bid samples and mock-up panels Inspecting visually for damage caused by improper handling and storage Running daily gradations
