EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum two years previous residential construction experience. BPI QCI Certification
required.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work well under pressure, self-starting
initiative, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and ability to travel within the regional
area, in-state, out-of-state, and overnight trips. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Must have good problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Demonstrate ability to take initiative
and responsibility. Effectively work with others to be part of team. Must pass extensive preemployment national criminal background and drug screening. Must have a valid drivers
license.
JOB SUMMARY:
Complete quality control inspections on all jobs completed by the Weatherization Crews in
compliance with Department of Energy regulations and guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Complete quality control inspections related paperwork.
2. Installing energy saving measures into low-income residential homes using
Department of Energy standards.
3. Participate in trainings as provided.
4. Complete all paperwork as required.
5. Keep all materials tracked and in good condition.
6. Maintain all tools and equipment in good working order and report any broken or lost
items.
7. Maintain trucks in good working order, keeping them clean and organized.
8. Communicate with clients in professional and courteous manner.
9. Report any issues to Wx Manager or Crew Leader.
10. Other duties as assigned
