Job Description:

Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist. This is a Temp or temp to hire position. This will be a full-time position.

**Hours** : 7:00am 3:30pm

**Pay** : $25.00-$30.00 an hour Depending on Experience

**Position:** Quality Technician and Machine Shop Support

We are seeking a dedicated individual to perform Quality Technician and Machine Shop Support duties. This position will play a key role in various quality and manufacturing support efforts, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing teams.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

+ Inspect precision machined products using a variety of precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, profilometers, portable CMM, and laser tracker CMM. Inspections will be conducted both in-process and upon completion.

+ Purchase and maintain production tooling and shop supplies.

+ Expedite raw material and subcontract purchase orders, directly communicating with vendors.

+ Conduct hydro-pressure testing.

+ Develop and maintain quality reports based on inspection and test data.

+ Communicate quality findings and concerns to the Quality Director and/or management.

+ Perform receipt inspections of raw materials and subcontracted processes, including physical inspections and document/specification reviews.

+ Ensure that measuring and test equipment is calibrated according to WPT quality programs and that it is stored and functioning correctly.

+ Maintain quality records and procedures.

**Manufacturing Quality Technician Requirements:**

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience in a machine shop environment.

+ Proficiency with manual measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers.

+ Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

+ Strong understanding of mathematical concepts, including fractions, ratios, and angles.

+ High level of visual awareness and attention to detail.

+ Strong organizational and self-motivational skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

+ Ability to work independently and maintain focus on tasks.

+ Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

**Pay Details:** $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
