Position: Quality Control TechnicianShift: 1st ShiftLocation: Broken Arrow

Must-Haves:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in quality control or production in the food industry.
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and food safety regulations.
  • Good observational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and random inspections of products on the production line.
  • Check for defects, quality deviations, and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality checks.
  • Report any quality issues or trends to the QC Supervisor.
  • Ensure that production processes and products comply with internal and external quality standards.
  • Understand and apply relevant food safety regulations.
  • Quickly identify quality issues or deviations from standards and escalate significant issues to supervisors.
  • Assist in the calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Work closely with other departments to improve product quality and participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
