This role ensures that raw materials and finished products meet quality requirements for our customers. Quality Control Laboratory Technicians create and maintain records in accordance with Chem-Trend's quality management system.Quality Control Laboratory Technicianarrow_drop_downResponsibilitiesarrow_right* Perform physical property testing on incoming raw materials to ensure that they meet appropriate standards of quality.* Perform physical property testing on production batch samples to ensure that customers receive the highest quality products in a timely manner.* Process approval or rejection of materials through SAP ERP software.* Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.* Assist in the investigation of quality issues.* Complete supervisor assigned responsibilities to ensure that departmental objectives are being met on time.* Participate with cross functional teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities as required.* Characterize, handle, label, manifest, or inspect hazardous waste in accordance with environmental regulations.Qualificationsarrow_right* High School diploma or equivalent* Basic computer proficiency using Windows and various software packages including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and SAP* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision* Basic understanding of industrial manufacturing processes is preferred* Ability to read and follow written procedures* Excellent time management skills* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal* The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly, such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and gloves, part or most of the day.The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
