GILBANE has opportunities for Quality Control Management professionals to support our upcoming projects at Fort Smith, Arkansas. These projects will begin in early 2025.

This role will sit in the office and on job sites as determined by project needs.

Responsibilities
* Assure all project-related work plans and project-specific documents necessary for performing project QC activities are onsite
* Review subcontractor quality plans for compliance to requirements
* Inspect work conformance to contract and design documents
* Understand drawings and specifications
* Implement the Three Phase Control System
* Develop daily quality control reports, prepare and issue detailed meeting minutes, and assist with post construction reports
* Use Submittal Register to track and assure required materials are approved in a timely manner.
* Manage in-depth technical reviews of submittals against design documents
* Proactively initiate deficiencies and non-conformances documentation, and monitor and verify corrective actions
* Stop work if necessary to resolve matters that affect safety, quality or non-compliance with design documents
* Verify materials received are same as those identified in approved submittals and complete material receipt inspection checklists
* Coordinate, witness, and document 3rd Party testing, special inspections, and commissioning of building systems
* Document all tests and results
* Coordinate and document completion inspection process
* Manage a timely project closeout to include compilation and turnover of all required documents
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
* BS OR MS degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
* 4 years construction experience; 1 years as QC Manager
* Strong Microsoft Word and Excel user
* CMAA Certification preferred
* Or equivalent combination of education and experience
* EM385 1-1 certificate
