Our food manufacturing client in greater Indianapolis is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee and enhance QC processes, ensuring their products consistently meet high standards. Working for an exponentially growing company within a tight-knit family environment, you'll manage a team, implement effective quality strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally to maintain product excellence.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 7-12 quality control professionals.
- Perform food safety risk assessments and develop control strategies.
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and customer service teams to integrate quality standards across the organization.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and data analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards (e.g., cGMP, HACCP, SQF).
- Act as a quality resource for new product testing, operational issues, and process improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5-15 years of food production quality control experience
- BS/MS in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Proven track record in implementing quality strategies and driving continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with quality control tools, software, and regulatory standards (cGMP, HACCP, SQF).
