Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Manager/Site Safety & Health Officer (QC/SSHO) to join our SES Electrical LLC (SEL) team, a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH). This role entails overseeing the repair of an existing sump tank liner and the upgrade of a medical facility's cooling tower and chiller system. The ideal candidate will ensure all activities are performed to the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to relevant codes, standards, and best practices. This role is located at Fort Liberty, NC. Responsibilities •Developing and implementing a Quality Control Plan (QCP) that meets UFGS requirements. •Creating and maintaining detailed documentation for all QC activities, such as daily logs, inspection reports, and test results. •Ensuring all project documentation is current and easily accessible for review. •Conducting pre-work inspections to confirm materials and equipment meet project specifications. •Monitoring and inspecting all work phases, including repairing the sump tank liner and installing chiller systems. •Coordinating and overseeing testing of materials and systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and UFGS standards. •Implementing and maintaining site-specific safety and health plans. •Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols. •Performing regular safety inspections, and audits, and providing safety training to project personnel. •Investigating and reporting safety incidents or near-misses, and maintaining daily safety logs. Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Working Conditions: Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise. Qualifications •OSHA 30-hour certification •USACE CQM Certification •Has hands-on experience with Procore and RMS software •Skilled in using Word, Excel, and PDF proficiently •Demonstrated track record as a QC/SSHO on federal projects •Profound understanding of quality control procedures and legal standards •Expertise in safety regulations and procedures •Strong focus on detail and adept at problem-solving •Excellent organizational and leadership skills •Effective communication and training abilities •Willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening and background checks We are an equal-opportunity employer.
